LOGISTICS MANAGER
Tripple A Global Ltd is recruiting an experienced Logistics Manager to support and lead Logistics operations within the UK. We are looking for someone experienced and used to working in a fast-paced logistics and supply chain management environment.
The Logistics Manager will manage and supervise the movement, distribution and storage of goods from manufacturers and suppliers to our various shops and warehouses. Your duties include overseeing shipping operations, warehousing and budget analysis.
The duties and responsibilities will also include:
• Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers
• Planning and overseeing incoming and outgoing deliveries
• Overseeing logistics, warehouse and transport services
• Planning and analysing budgets and expenditures
• Resolving complaints and issues regarding the supply chain
• Maintaining customer service logs and safety records
• Management and supervision of staff within the booking-in / distribution team and Drivers.
• Ensure the timely dispatch of items to customers and suppliers.
• Oversee Driver schedules and route plans for efficient and timely transit of goods.
• Management and coordination of the Max Optra system for routing.
Skills Required
• Experience with online booking systems (eg Datascope)
• Demonstrates strong communication skills and ability to multitask
• Ability to organise, manage and lead a team of individuals
• Numerically strong and computer literate
• Relationship-building skills for internal and external partners.
• Proficient in MS packages.
Qualifications
• UK or equivalent undergraduate or postgraduate degree preferred.
• Previous experience in the supervision of a site logistics role is preferable
Hours:
40 per week
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £46,900.00 per year(£22.55)
Schedule:
Monday to Friday (9 am-5 pm)
