PROCUREMENT AND PURCHASING MANAGER
TRIPPLE A GLOBAL LTD is looking for a Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager to join a fantastic company. You will be responsible for heading up the Purchasing & Supply Chain function, including the strategic and day-to-day management of all planning of procurement and supply chain processes. This is a busy and varied role where you will have one direct report and will work closely with other department managers to ensure processes run smoothly. Within your role, you will be required to build relationships at all levels, and you must have a warm and approachable nature with an analytical mind! You will be responsible for forecasting to ensure that products are purchased at the right volume in order to fulfil orders, as well as supplier and distributor management.
The Procurement Manager oversees the company’s sourcing capabilities and supply chain. He or she will be responsible for finding and evaluating suppliers, products and services, negotiating contracts and acquiring the most cost-efficient deals without compromising on quality.

Duties and responsibilities
A Procurement Manager manages a company’s supply of products and services. The main duty is to ensure the company sources quality and affordable products in a reasonable time. The core responsibilities include:
• Liaising with key company employees to determine their product and service needs
• Performing all procurement activities, including pre-qualification, negotiating supplier agreements, preparation of contracts and tender management
• Delegating tasks and supervising the work of Purchasing and Procurement Agents across all departments
• Identifying areas for improvement to drive performance and business results continually
• Leading a team of Purchasing Agents and delegating tasks across departments when necessary
• Managing overall direction, coordination and evaluation of procurement for the organisation
• Developing strong relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve business
• Creating policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation
Personal Attributes:
• Degree/CIPs and at least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience
• OR A BTEC Higher or equivalent qualification plus at least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience
OR
• Exceptionally, 5 years’ working experience in a procurement role
Remuneration and Conditions of Assignment:
• £27.29 per hour (£56,752 per annum)
• Full-time
• 9 am-5 pm, Monday-Friday
